We had high hopes for this restaurant as we looked at the menu and saw the other reviews. We are vegetarian, so maybe the food wasn't really made for us, but we found the flavors to be lackluster. The initial bread basket was cold (not warm bread). The pizza had a nice thin crust but the cheese and flavors didn't seem good. I kept tasting something different in there that I felt was ruining the flavor ... Something like cheddar cheese type of taste. The service was wonderful though. The staff was really nice. For the price we paid, the meal was not worth it. Maybe non-vegetarians might have a different experience.
We had a great lunch here. It's actually my first time, but my friends were here. They told me that food is really great here and their drinks. The exterior seats look really nice and we decided to sit there instead of inside. Staff are located in the property. I chose a random dish and it was good that I really liked it as well as the cocktail. I only visited the place less than an hour and can say that it is a great restaurant in the area. The food is good. The service is great. It was a quick lunch, we wanted to stay longer, but we can't lead to some breaks, but we will definitely be back.
My Son and Daughter-In-Love took me to Cafe de Luca after church for Mother's Day! We pretty much stumbled up on this location. We enjoyed appetizers, entrees, and I had ice cream for dessert. We dined upstairs due to full house on the main level. Upstairs was more intimate, I thought. There was also patio dining. Service was great; food served hot, and delicious. This was a exceptional find!
I tried this place a few years ago and didn't really have a great experience so I never thought to try it again. That must have been a one-off, because I met someone for dinner on her recommendation and it was a fabulous surprise. The food was excellent and the drinks were delicious and strong. Will definitely return to try all the other things on the menu that I had no place for last time.
Beautiful small Italian place in the Forest Park. Quality food... good mood. My wife chose this place. We had the Crab Cakes for the appetizers. For the Entree I had the Steak Panini and the Tropical Coconut cocktail. My wife got the Rigatoni and she said it was really good and tasteful and perfect for a lunch. Well, you got it... here's up.
Cosy Italian restaurant at Forest Park on Madison. There we enjoyed our mother's lunch with delicious mussels and Diablo Seafood Linguine. I wish they had more choices. Service was good and we like the room. No dog allowed on the terrace, this is a summer:
Caffe De Luca is dying for! Absolutely the best food. Nice atmosphere. Caffe De Luca is the most romantic place to go on a date. You have a terrace upstairs with a beautiful fireplace, candles and decor.
Good food. Reasonable prices. Drink mixology needs some improvement. Friendly environment. Enjoyed my time. Helpful and respectful staff. Thank You!
