Friends were visiting from OS and we decided to try dining in Potts Point. We found Caffe Roma.
The food is tasty. The decor is interesting for an Italian restaurant but there is something missing.
The service is woeful. Our starter plates were only removed whilst the waiter had our mains in his hands. A juggling act ensued and we ended up assisting him clear the table.
Also, passing a meal over the back of a booth is not a good idea.
If you want good food the come here. If you want great service then here is not the place for you.
I like this place. Came here for dinner. Great atmosphere and lovely decor. Very Italian! The owner is typically Italian....busy and expressive. The food was good but there was something missing. We came as a group of 4 and ordered seafood pasta, pizza, Boscaiola and bruschetta. The Boscaiola had way too much butter and oil in it but the flavour was definitely there. Excellent coffee though. Would come back
Alle bestellten Gerichte waren wunderbar flavosen. Toller Service mit einem sehr kreativen Menü. Der Service war tadellos. Habe sogar einen Bonus von $ 50 von der Live. So ein hervorragendes Erlebnis!
that pizza was one of the best i have ever tried. very nice restaurant and loved the environment. the only thing i did not like about was the manager's attitude. he was a bit disrespectful.

All the dishes we ordered were wonderfully flavoursome. Great service with a very creative menu. Service was impeccable. Even got a $50 bonus from Liven. Such a superb experience!

The gnocchi riviera was exactly what I needed!! Will definitely come back next time in Sydney! :) the owner was adorable and very welcoming
