The restaurant seems like an extension from a small shopping mall. Not a very big place inside for the main area. We booked for quite an early time for dinner and not really full. And we were assigned to an inner table and next to some customers. In fact, the ideal table for us would be those empty one along the window, looking out the street. Anyway, the service is OK. The food is average overall. The Melon with the prosciutto was a bit strange in color and texture. Not the usual one we have as honeydew or rock melon, maybe the one that from Spain. We parked up the road near the NAB bank. Met a long time colleague for a bit of a yarn. He had the bacon bagel and coffee - a flat white. I had the crumbed whiting($16) with salad(extra $3). The fish was crunchy with a nice moistness under the crunch. Salad was fresh with lots of olive oil. We sat in the passage near the pavement. Slightly troubled by the whine of the nearby shop. Otherwise a nice winter's lunch.
My, how this places has changed for the worse!!!Very sad to see a previously bustling and atmospheric Spanish restaurant now run shambolically, with a truncated menu, and waitstaff run off their feet.Lighting was too bright inside. No atmosphere.We only ordered chorizo and bread with tapenade because nothing else looked appetising. On the plus side, my friend enjoyed her cocktail.Won't be back
This place was made all the sweeter as we booked a dimmi 50% off the food bill special. All the food was amazing the staff were attentive and helpful and the wine was delicious. I went back to Cantina after many years and found it to still have consistently great food. We were seated in the actual inside of restaurant which was a nice warm atmosphere. Staff were helpful in our food selection and there was lots of gluten free options for me.
Popped into Cantina's today to try out the coffee. Very impressed with the friendly service and the coffee was excellent. Try out the muffins - they are divine and huge! Had to share as one was far too big for me. Will be back.
The gnocchi is delicious and worth the visit. Service and atmosphere good, excellent expresso martini. Prices are in the mid to high range as always in Perth but with the Dimmi 50% off food it was good value.
The food menu is very limited. The drinks menu is extensive. I did enjoy my whiting. Nice location. I have been here a few times lately. Very convenient with parking. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great vibe! Lovely rustic decor, friendly staff and yummy coffee and food. We had avocado/feta/poached egg dish and bacon bagel ... filled us up for the day!
