I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie, but when I checked the bag, I found it broken into eight pieces. It crumbled in my hand as I tried to eat it. The flavor was mainly butter, with some chocolate chips thrown in. I ordered all this from a ghost kitchen in downtown Portland, a new concept that allows third parties to offer a variety of restaurant menus, including chain restaurants that don’t have a physical presence in the area. While the food was technically edible, it just didn’t taste good.
This was my first time ordering from Capriotti's, and I decided to try their Chopped Cheese. As it was my first experience with Chopped Cheese anywhere, I was thrilled to discover how much I enjoyed it! The fries were freshly cut, really highlighting the quality of the potatoes without any additives or preservatives. As a private chef for a large company, I make my own Chopped Cheese at work, but Capriotti's version truly impressed me, especially the fries. I will definitely be coming back!
A friend of mine ordered sandwiches for lunch for both of us and had them delivered to the office. I was impressed! They really load up on the fillings. There was an abundance of meat, cheese, vegetables, and condiments stacked high on quality bread. I had the Italian sandwich, and it was amazing—definitely one of the best subs I've ever tasted. If you're in the mood for a sub, this place is a top-notch option!
I don’t care if the sandwiches are made of gold; there’s simply no excuse for charging $45 for two small sandwiches and one medium one. It’s way too pricey. It feels like they’re either relying on their reputation or taking advantage of their location in Happy Valley. Either way, we won't be returning. The sandwich was good, but I was charged for a dessert that I never received. Furthermore, the chips I ordered as an extra were unavailable, and I wasn't informed until I got back to pick up my order. Consequently, I had to select a substitute that I didn't really want. Overall, it felt too expensive for an experience that left me feeling let down.
I usually refrain from writing negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was rather disappointing. I ordered a tuna sub with extra pickles, but all I got was tuna and pickles—nothing more. I don't plan on ordering from here again.
Absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was amazing, showcasing fresh ingredients in every bite. The ordering process and the service were excellent, making the whole experience truly fantastic.

This is a chain restaurant rather than a locally-owned establishment. You collect your order through a concealed entrance. I think I'll look into some local alternatives instead.
