I want to begin by saying that this review is quite mixed. Initially, I planned to order the full sandwich, and if I had, I might not have felt compelled to write a review at all. The sandwich was what I expected, and it came with an extra side of sauce, which was fine. However, this time I opted for the half sub and half salad, and unfortunately, the BBQ chicken in the salad was inedible. It either appeared undercooked, old, or possibly both. I had hoped for something comparable to what I’ve had at the Cheesecake Factory, but I was very disappointed. I'm grateful I started with the half sandwich instead.
I ordered a sandwich with extra meat, extra cheese, and mayo, but what I received was a disappointing thin sandwich with only a few cold cuts. I could literally count the five slices of salami on the dry bread. This was by far the worst experience I've had at any hero shop on Long Island.
I highly recommend trying The Bobbie. The food was quite good, and the portions and prices were reasonable.
