Here’s what I ordered: - Cajun fries: Delicious - Mozzarella sticks: Tasty - Cajun platter: Great As for the service, the hostess was a bit distracted (she was on her phone) and took a while before greeting and seating us. We requested a highchair, but she never returned with it, so my friend went to get one himself. However, our server Kevin was excellent. It seemed like he was running half the restaurant and also bartending, but he still managed to be very attentive. Although it took a little longer for us to place our orders, we didn't mind at all because he handled everything so well. He quickly brought us our drinks and our food shortly after we ordered, plus everything was correct....
We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The service was excellent and attentive, even though it was quite busy; our waiter consistently checked on us. The Captain's platter was definitely worth it. If you're looking to keep your expenses down, I recommend starting with their combos and platters. The Captain's platter ended up being more satisfying than we expected. Initially, we wanted to order more lobster and crab, but after considering our options, this turned out to be the best choice, and we even had leftovers to take home. My husband and I had dinner here today. We ordered the crab and shrimp platter. It was a lot of food. The seasoning was with Boom Boom spice and medium (hot) heatness. Our crab and shrimp platter also came with potatoes and corn. Everything was delicious! Our server was also really great. He didn?t introduce himself to us but the name on the receipt said Randy. He was attentive to us while we ate and made sure that we had everything we needed. I like how he offered us lemons for the seafood and extra moist towelettes. He also filled our glasses before they got empty. The decorations, music, and the atmosphere were also great! I would love to come here again.
Be sure to double-check your order. We ordered four lobster tails but received only two. Initially, we weren't certain if we had ordered all four or just two, so we hesitated to bring it up. It wasn't until we received the bill that we confirmed there should have been four. We informed the manager, who glanced at our receipt and then walked away without saying anything. We ended up waiting 20-25 minutes for a response, which made us feel quite uncomfortable, as if we were begging for food or money. I'm writing this review because I was incredibly impressed by our server, Kevin! My sister, cousin, and I visited on Saturday night to try something new, as we were in the mood for seafood. Since we weren’t familiar with the menu, Kevin took the time to explain everything to us and recommend some of the popular dishes. He consistently checked in to ensure we were well taken care of during our visit. We definitely plan to return soon with our mom, who also loves seafood! Thank you for creating such a positive and welcoming atmosphere at this restaurant!
We ordered the Captain's Platter for my wife and I. At first I thought it would be too much food but actually it was perfect. We chose this one because it includes 2 lobster tails and we really wanted one each. Went with the Boom Boom seasoning, medium spicy but think next time would def go with the Fire! I was hesitant about this platter as I usually don't care for the mussels or clams or sausage but let me tell you I ate everything on this including a boiled egg and all was delicious. We def will be back no doubt!
The seafood was served cold and didn't seem to be cleaned thoroughly. I could still smell and taste a hint of rawness. It felt like they used frozen seafood instead of fresh. The sauce was only on the outside, while the inside lacked flavor. However, I did order a dozen raw oysters, and they were fresh and juicy.
This is place to go when you?re looking for the best seafood Broil. It?s more than seasoned and I promise you?ll leave with a happy full stomach. I can?t believe I have been working down the street for years and did not know about this place. This restaurant is definitely a gem. It is so clean, and the customer service is so excellent! I appreciate the quick service here too. I will definitely be coming back.
