I recently ordered a combination of oxtail and curry goat at this restaurant for $27. I was disappointed to find that I only received 4 pieces of each meat, with the majority of the bowl filled with rice and veggies. When I went back to address this issue, the chef, who was bald, insisted that I wear a mask (even though I already had one on) and was rude and condescending towards me for not being satisfied with my order. I found it strange that he was not wearing a mask himself, considering he was the one preparing the food.
I am writing this review primarily because I noticed some recent negative reviews and wanted to share my positive experience. I ordered delivery from Uber Eats and got a variety of items including a goat roti, a piece of kingfish, a couple of fried dumplings, a chicken patty (unfortunately beef was not available on Uber eats), a piece of cocobread, and the honeybun rum cake. I've only had roti from Teddy's before, and while it's been a while, I would say this one is just as good. The roti skin was nice.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated that I spent money on this food. This is the second time I have ordered from this restaurant. The first time was fantastic - the meals were so tasty that my wife and I even swapped dishes so we could enjoy both. However, tonight's experience was a complete letdown. I ordered the same dishes, curry snapper and brown stem snapper, but they lacked flavor and the sauces were incredibly watery. I cannot believe they would even sell this and deliver it to customers.
This restaurant is my preferred one. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very helpful and the food they serve is so tasty. I never decline to have a nice dinner in this place. I highly recommend this place.

The best Caribbean cuisine ever... This is the ONLY restaurant I get my island fix ... I used to go to the one on Rhode Island Ave before that location closed... In the picture is a small curry chicken with extra gravy... It's enough for 2 meals.
I enjoyed the oxtail. The customer service on the other hand is not as good. The gentleman taking my order was acting like I was bothering him when I was asking him simple questions about the menu. He made me not want to come back.
I spend lots of money into this business. The store in landover md they customer service skills is very mediocre. from the 2 bold head bude to the fat lady on the back. i wont spend one more dollar into this place
Purchased the Curry Chicken lunch special and the strawberry hennessy cake....and the lunch special came with a drink for $7.95...Overall, the food was delicious!!

Great food. Showed up shortly before closing. There was a line, but everything went smoothly. Customer service was great, food was excellent.
ordered the shrimp roti and a side of cabbage, neither seasoned well! And the shrimp was WAYYYY over cooked!
