Went to Carlos V with friends. On arrival at 5.30pm we were told there were no inside tables available, but no explanation why. There were a few outside tables so we had no alternative but to sit there. The first waiter was an older man with no personality at all. We ordered and a second waiter came to our table with the same abrupt rude attitude. It appeared they were waiting for the large party who had booked the inside restaurant. It was a random choice for two hungry guys early one Wednesday evening. I had sole, my friend had pork as a main course with bread and alioli, salted peppers and avocadand prawns between us to start. I have to say that my expectations were not high but in most things surpassed. The alioli was not good, the avocado and prawn reminiscent of prawn cocktail of bygone era, but the main courses were very very palatable and well presented.
