we were in Rosemont for a convention and decided to make a lunch trip to Carlucci’s and man are we happy that we did. The service and the food was stellar, but a special mention has to be made about our server “Grumpy”. I don’t think we’ve ever had better service from someone that we did not know. It was immediately like he was familiar with our table and he was sarcastic and sweet. Very friendly but also very professional… it really takes a special person to have such a nice experience in a place where you’ve never been. Thank you so much Grumpy Bill for your amazing hospitality, and for making our lunch so special. Carlucci’s is lucky to have you which I’m sure they know!
The staff is always friendly and Grumpy the bartender is the best. He will always make sure your drink is right or find the right wine for you. Their food is an Italian staple in Rosemont. Everyone knows Carlucci 's will not disappoint. Best calamari in town and their filets are delicious. Don 't forget their cracker-thin crust pizza either! Great date place, work place or great dinner place to get together with friends. The bar has a fantastic, romantic atmosphere and Grumpy is so funny.
First time here ambiance was good staff helpful and friendly. I wasn't very pleased with my meal. Not a fan of al dente pasta and it was my mistake I didn't ask. Also, the sauce was kinda sweet for the chicken Parm. I should have went with my first mindand ordered the Pork chop. Now let's talk about the drinks. Boy oh boy were they nice and strong. One was all I needed lolOverall good experience not sure if I will be back. I wasn't that impressed with the food.
We had a party of six for a business lunch today. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the service was excellent and entertaining. I loved my veal piccata. It was the best veal that I have had in years. We had the famous Grumpy as our waiter. He even brought me a black napkin, so I did not get lint on my black pants. I felt very special. I highly recommend Carlucci’s restaurant. Enjoy!!! Say hi to Grumpy for me.
Near Ohare airport and want Italian? Drop by Carlucci Rosemont for a lively and large portioned meal. We tried a few appetizers and each got one of the main entrees. The chicken park was juicy, with the umami from the bread cheese sauce perfectlymatching expectations. The short rib was so tender that it didn?t require a knife to portion into more manageable bite sizedmorsels.
We had a happy hour event here in the lobby and outside area. The appetizers were delicious! They had various pizza toppings and we tried the veggie slices. Stuffed mushrooms were great! The calamari was good and the fried cheese ravioli. Drinks werestrong and packed a punch.
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant! I make it a point to come here every time I visit Chicago from Phoenix, exceptional staff. 5 star rating and above! I Absolutely love the atmosphere and excellent food.
Awsome food and wonderful staff. I came here to purpose to my fiance and we had a wonderful time. A few years back we came here for a newyears eve party and it was wonderful.
Our waiter was fun and attentive. Our waiter “Grumpy” as he calls himself was knowledgable about the appetizers size and share-ability. The food and atmosphere were perfect.
