Lovely ambiance, modern and clean. My wife’s penne was great, my steak was pretty good, not prime but about what I would expect for any restaurant not advertising as a steakhouse. However my carbonara was awful, scrambled eggs and noodles. I sent it back and would have been fine just calling it done at this point, the steak and bread were pretty filling. They wanted to try again, but the server said before giving me the new plate, “if you don’t like this then carbonara is not for you”. Again it was scrambled eggs. Their food is fantastic! They create their own mozzarella, ricotta, pasta and desserts daily. Plus use fresh produce and herbs from their huge garden. The caprese salad is amazing. Their delicious complimentary bread comes with three or four spreads (garlic butter, ricotta, red pepper, avocado). They hope to add gelato soon. I love how they remodeled the interior. Much nicer. Plus they added a lounge area and patio dining. Their prices are good, especially for lunch with huge portions but less options. They have lamb and more seafood dishes for dinner. Wonderful new Italian restaurant ...authentic Italian food with homemade ricotta and mozzarella cheeses, pasta and more!!! Amazing pizza ...thin crust with great combinations of toppings. Absolutely incredible! I've spent almost 4 months in Italy and never did I have gnocchi that tastes as good as the gnocchi with 4 cheese sauce (lunch menu) that Carmine makes! And the Caprese salad is so yummy too! You must go here!
We used to love this place : we were disappointed this time with soggy pizza, and sub par greasy lasagna. The burrata was still delicious though, not sure if it was an off night.
