I just left this Carrabas quite literally less than five minutes prior to writing this, but I wanted to leave a review since halfway through my time there. We walked in and were seated super fast. Once seated our server (Anna) came up really fast and got our drinks and appetizer order. Another man came by with our bread shortly after. Our drinks and food was very fast. When she brought them we ordered our main food and got our side salads really fast. The food was really good and so were the drinks. Our server was also very fast when we asked for the check. The food/service was all great! I would like to write a little shout out to our server Anna who laughed at mine and my boyfriends stupid...
Ich mag Carrabbas, die Kette, aber dieser Ort war eine Enttäuschung. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, aber wir warteten nur, um bei der Gastgeberin einzuchecken. Dann konnte sie unsere Reservierung oder die der beiden Parteien vor uns nicht finden. Unser Kellner war sehr nett, als sie ihren Weg fand, nach uns zu sehen. Kein einziger Check-in bei uns nach dem Eintreffen der Vorspeisen, was unter anderem bedeutete, dass kein Getränk nachgefüllt wurde. Es hat ewig gedauert, unseren Scheck zu bekommen. Ich gehe davon aus, dass dies nur eine schlechte Nacht war und das Essen trotzdem sehr gut gefallen hat. They gave me my special order (medium steak and pasta in olive oil) but it took a while. I guess because it wasn't a standard menu item. The food was good even though the steak was medium well and overcooked and did not have the marsala topping I requested. My fault for going to an italian place for a steak I guess. They didn't ask what I wanted to drink or if I wanted dessert. However the side salad was good and I really enjoyed the pasta, bread and the dipping spices in oil. Lunch on a weekday was not busy but they seemed short staffed.
Bottom line we never got to eat. We arrived there 10 minutes before our scheduled reservation to be told that there was a minimum 45 minute wait and that reservations were not really reservations. Never had that experience before with an Open Table reservation. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Das Belohnungsprogramm funktioniert nicht. Der Manager hat unsere Belohnung nach Besuchen nicht honoriert. Sehr unhöflicher Manager in Centerville. Geh nicht dorthin
First time eating here and was not disappointed. Food was very good and the prices were reasonable. Will be visiting again in the future.

I warn you, I am not a fan of salty food but I am a huge fan of cheesy and thick pasta.
Nice menu. Tasty food. Friendly service. Portions are fairly large. Pastas can be heavy. Be prepared to take some home.
