If you haven’t had a carrot dog have you even lived?!? (they really are amazing do have the taste and texture of real hot dogs only better because there’s no body parts! I had one at a festival years ago and loved it was so happy to see that Carrot Dog had recently popped up in my neighbourhood. I was only going to get one, so I picked the Santa Fe and it was amazing! Loved the Chipotle mayo and all the fresh veggies on it.Then I ordered the backyard barbecue which was easily just as impressive, with chilli, baked beans, onions, slaw and smothered in a rich smoky bbq sauce. I ordered hotdogs, chips and Ginger lemonade.I was surprised the carrots were so small, I was expecting the fat long carrots…anyway when I tasted it, it is actually delicious and tastes like real meat hotdog, I for the LA hotdog ?. And I am probably going to start making these at home now. It’s actually very good, so I would eat here again when I do my next walk lol.
Great customer service at this carrot doggery on the Beltline! I was asked immediately if I have ever been there and told the vision of the shop. The owner stuck her head out of the kitchen to ask if everything was to my liking. Everyone in my party enjoyed the food, including my meat loving husband.

The carrot is too small. You just taste the toppings. I was expecting a whole carrot thats the same size as a hotdog. They charge you for cutting the carrot in half and then cutting that half in half. Crazy. I'll make it at home. It has potential thou. Leave carrots whole.
Not only is the food delicious and healthy, the owner/chef is amazing! She is so energetic and positive! You can tell that the food is cooked with love.
It tastes better than a hot dog! So good I went back and ordered another. I got the LA and Santa Fe carrot dogs. I just wish they were open more often!
