Worse customer service. We order cakes at this place all the time. We went today to order cake for my daughter?s birthday and we brought a picture to be copied on cake. We knew it was short notice because we needed for the following day. The owner said noproblem but let us know next time to let them know sooner and we agreed. All of a sudden some young kid owners son comes fromback said if was up to him he wouldn't do it. The owner tried to tell son that we are good customer but after this display ofdisrespect we decided to ask for our money back and went somewhere else. We won?t be doing any business again with thisbusiness.
I visited Carvel three times this summer and fall, each time ordering their chocolate soft serve cones. Unfortunately, all three times the ice cream arrived soupy, melted, and served in cold cones. When I mentioned this to the owner/manager, I was told the machine is old and sometimes produces soft serve like that. Despite purchasing six cones in total, I was never offered a refund—only once was I offered a replacement cone, which had the same issue. This poor customer service was disappointing and even ended up ruining my brand new bicycle shirt with melted ice cream. I expected better quality from Carvel’s menu.

We knew it was short notice since we needed the cake for the next day. The owner said it wouldn’t be a problem, but noted that we should give more notice in the future, which we agreed to. However, out of nowhere, the owner's son, who seemed quite young, came out from the back and said that if it were up to him, he wouldn’t make the cake. The owner tried to reassure him by saying that we were good customers.
The ice cream at Carvel is overpriced and the customer service is poor. I ordered a large soft serve, but the portion was much smaller than what was advertised. When I paid, I was charged for my ice cream plus an additional one. When I inquired about the size discrepancy, they insisted that the large was accurate, even though it clearly wasn't.

Eating a cone at Carvel feels like a race against the melting, drippy soft serve that quickly gets messy. The runny texture is a clear problem, even as you’re just stepping out the door. I now remember this was an issue the last time I visited as well.
This shop is clean and well-stocked with convenient grab-and-go items that allow for quick pickup and payment. The staff has consistently been polite, friendly, and helpful. I always choose this location when I need an ice cream birthday cake.
This location does not serve swirl cones with chocolate and vanilla. Additionally, they are requiring masks, which seems strange since other places do not have this requirement.
Incredible! This is the only place in the area that serves pistachio soft serve ice cream!
