Fantastic tacos and high quality margarita. Friendly and attentive staff. On our second visit we had carnitas tacos and shrimp fajita quesadilla which were both high quality. Service was right on the ball with everything and super kid friendly. Update: Jan 2024 we had a terrible experience. Went with our 2 kids- 1y and 3y. Took 30 minutes for them to even take our order then another 45 minutes to get our food... And it came out cold. Our little ones were at a point meltdown by the time our cold food came so we basically had to get it to go... Which was maybe for the better since I had to microwave it. Hopefully this was just an off night and not their new norm.
I'm from Arizona, I always go by Casa del Rey when I'm in town. Lacey is the bomb, the always upbeat, kind and funny. Oh, and the food is good too! The food and service is excellent. The only downfall is the wait for a table especially if you have a larger party than 4. The place is small but also has patio seating for warmer weather. Finding parking is also a challenge especially for the handicap.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I live in Alhambra, and I will go out of my way for good food. I always get good service and the food is so good. They even have a special menu for my pup.
