Casabella on the Thames

Casabella is located on the Thames river in Chatham. The front part is an older house and the back part is a newer addition (this is the part with the river views). Naturally most people would want a river view although there is lots of seating in the older part of the restaurant. We were fortunate enough to get a river view. Service was very good even though the table cloth could have been cleaner and there was a chip in one of our glasses. Salads were very good with fresh ingredients although the variety of ingredients in the house salad were minimal. One entrée we had was the beef medallions. Celebrated our son’s 30th birthday on their beautiful patio at sunset. The view of the Thames was gorgeous, beautiful twinkling lights in the trees, lovely little water feature surrounded by beautiful pussywillows, such a romantic feel. Service was outstanding, friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely...delicious! Overall an amazing experience! Thank you for making our evening perfect!

Tried Casa Bella for a group lunch on the nice patio over looking the Thames River. Service was excellent! Good selections of beers (bottles only) and a decent menu. I recommend the salmon. Reasonably priced. Will be back!

I absolutely loved this restaurant with its stunning view and will definitely return in the summer. The food was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

I had the seafood stew and it was fantastic!! Very delicious and beautiful large portion. I had enough left the next day. I also liked it was gluten-free!
