When we drove up, we saw a tiny old building all by itself. The parking lot was cracked and weeds sprouted through the asphalt. The whole thing was quite unprepossessing.Inside there was a small dining room and a tall super-friendly guy who spoke English perfectly. Everything was spotless. We ordered and our waiter/manager/factotum helped us choose dishes. We had six people and were the only people present, but it was at 2pm during Ramadan so probably not their busiest time.Food came out quickly and was terrific. Twice in a row they forgot something from our carryout order. First time was an entire sandwich combo meal. Second time was dessert and a drink. Thought it was just a fluke the first time they replaced the missing food, no issues. However, the second time, they called us liars! Both times we had to drive all the way back to get the missing food.We also received a falafel sandwich that accidentally had chicken added to it, good thing the person wasn't vegan or vegetarian. The food tasted good but the prices were way too high for what you get for some dishes. A few tablespoons of hummus cost $7. Dining room closed when I visited here. Take out only. Family owned and very friendly. The menu was explained thoroughly. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. I had never eaten food from Morocco and it was similar to Mediterranean cuisine but a bit smokier. I absolutely loved it. I am a vegetarian and was able to order a starter and an entree with no issues.

Best Chicken Shawarma in S.E. Michigan. Zalook (roasted eggpant) side is amazing and so is the Hummas, served with warm bread baked on site. The fresh ginger lemonaid is worth the trip by itself. Love this place. Must try.Food: 5/5

Reliably delicious, no matter what I've ordered, and good price/value. Lentil soup extra awesome.
