Was recommended to try this place while in town. The catfish did not disappoint, I'm not a big fan of fried food but the catfish was fried to perfection, crispy and not greasy. Can't say the same about the fries, they weren't bad but nowhere near the best. Ordered via pickup, everyone was nice and friendly once you walk in and pay for your order. Wish the coleslaw was packaged differently, in the styrofoam container so if it tips just a little your bag will be filled with coleslaw juice
I would describe this place as a Hole-in-the-Wall kind of place. It's tucked in a corner away from tourist traffic but looks like the locals know about it. Their fried catfish fillets are so very good, they are tender and fresh with just the right amount of seasoning that I didn't even want to add anything else to cover it up. I'd most likely go back again if and when I travel through this area.
Just order food,as takeout, only to get home to find out order was wrong, called back ,only to be told to bring it all back to prove it, customer service sucks here, i will never give them my business and money again..be careful dealing with this business...
I discovered this restaurant thanks to another review on Google. I ordered catfish with fries, which was served alongside coleslaw and pinto beans. It's more of a local spot, but the comfort food is definitely good. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This is hands down the best catfish, coleslaw, hush puppies and beans we have ever had. We had a lovely chat with the owner, Jim. Staff is so kind. We live near Fort Worth and will be making trips here to eat!
I absolutely love this place the food is excellent. They give you so much food on your plate you can share with someone else. Delicious food
