We live in S. Huntsville and were going to be close to Ardmore for the evening and decided to checkout Cassie's Cafe. They have a couple of new waitresses who were very friendly, witty, and really on top of things; service was excellent! Between the four of us we tried the rib-eye special, hamburger, and fried catfish. We cheated a little and sampled each other's entree. All were great and we all especially liked the catfish. The atmosphere was that of a friendly family diner so nothing very fancy but was more like what we were looking for. Will definitely go back.
Sandwich was greasier than a McDonald’s burger. “Large” burger was very small..I’d hate to see how small a regular burger is.“Home fries” came out to me…It looked like they boiled a potato, chopped it up, then brushed oil over it. I think I could have put the whole potato back together myself. That’s not typically what someone considers home fries.However, staff is amazing and very kind. Just work on your menu
I ordered two large catfish plates and a catfish sandwich, and it was a terrible experience! The catfish wasn't breaded, probably because there wasn't much meat on it. The hushpuppies were burnt, and the fries were cold. The sandwich was served on a hamburger bun, and the lettuce was brown. I can't believe I paid $40 for this meal. Wayne was right; I should have gone to Mildred's in Ardmore instead!
Great small town atmosphere. Meat, and 3 place, with the southern hospitality you expect. The food was great and reasonably priced. Don't forget to try their breakfast, and burgers also.

Normally good food and good service very reasonable price ever now and then you may get a meal that's not up to your standards all over it's a good place to eat.
It's a good place to take your family to have breakfast lunch or dinner it's a real nice atmosphere good people a friendly place I highly recommend
The service was excellent, and the food exceeded my expectations. However, the decor could use a refreshing update.
The food and service is alright! Could be bigger but its a nice lil place to go have dinner ??

Mom Pop type Cafe. Nothing can be said bad. Very good food and good portions. Price was good
