Whilst I'm sure every food and beverage outlet has it's off days, the Castle Hill RSL really dropped the ball on this one.I'm reasonably sure the cook in their restaurant knew that the burger I had ordered was completely burnt and not fit for consumption. However, the meal was duly served when it probably would not have taken too long to redo the patty.When I asked the Duty Manager why I had to humiliatingly stand at the counter with the questionable dish in front of me, and everyone else in line, in order to receive a refund, her response was... because it's our company policy. Whilst an offer was made to redo the meal, a simple apology would have sufficed and the matter could have been put...
Dismal experience. We order drinks at the table just to be told that we need to order at the bar because the waiter didn't have time to get our drinks. Went to the bar order 3 glasses of ice bar staff told us to order at the table. On 6 occasions during the evening we were given a hard time for nothing. Vacated our table and went to the lounge to finish off our drinks just to be told by security that minors are not allowed after ten pm. Waste of money poor service unfriendly and rude staff all round. Never spend your money there!
Overpriced and terrible food. We visited to try the smoked pulled pork burgers and ribs which they have been promoting with another family.They put so much sauce and so little meat in their burger it was embarrassing.The fish and chips our kids had was so flavourless and dull not to mention how it was presented!Whilst the outdoor area is very nice the food is absolutely shocking.Stay away from eating here and save your money!Not returning back.
Once again, terrible food, had Bangers and Mash - 3 little dried up, burnt sausages, gravy like mash. It is a dreadful review for a big club, they need a new butcher and certainly new cooks.
