Our local pub is nothing to look at very 80's interior but hey what's important the food and the price both very good. We had the in-laws with us and being country people they love pubs and especially ones with salad bars, here they have hot and cold salad bar. We all were very satisfied with our meals,I had baked chicken breast with ham and cheese with sweet potato wedges see not everything in pubs is deep fried! Mum in law and hubby loved their seafood baskets in truth they couldn't finish all the chips as we started off with the lovely ciabatta garlic bread,generous portion. Father in law very pleased with his mixed grill and daughter fish and chips very good $9.90 included her meal a sof...
We previously got takeaway from here each week. This week, part of our meal was missed so I called up. Staff member 's response 'ohh yeah that is sitting on the bench here, we must have forgot to give it to you '. Manager refused to offer a partial refund, or offer a discount the following week, and stated, 'you received most of your meal '. So in summary the manager if of the view it is acceptable to charge full price and only give you half your meal. No apology. Upon asking for his name he refused to give it to me and hung up. Extremely rude and dismissive management who are not accountable for their Staff 's actions. Very poor customer service Do not recommend.
This is our second visit to this restaurant within a month, mainly for shopping. Located in a large shopping complex, it is conveniently situated for a midday meal. I initially planned to order the fish and chips from the Senior Menu but decided against it, fearing the portion size might be insufficient. Instead, I opted for a dish from the Standard Main menu and was pleasantly surprised to receive two large pieces of fish - more than enough for one person. The addition of a small Salad Bar complemented the meal well, with fresh and adequate options. The dining room, which was not overcrowded, conveniently leads directly to the carpark.
I went to this restaurant with my father for lunch on a Saturday and we were pleasantly surprised. Our meals arrived quickly after we ordered and they were well-prepared, with generous portions and fresh ingredients. We both enjoyed the crumbed prawns, which were delicious. The salad bar had a nice variety of tasty options. The staff, although young, were friendly and efficient. We definitely plan on returning. The new decor is also very appealing. Actually, there are a couple of really cool pubs a little further up the road, so there is probably no excuse what so ever to grace the walls of this pub. I did, and a couple of times, but namely because I did some shifts at the local Coles, and that was quite a while ago as well. When I came back here to check it out more recently my friend literally screamed in horror, and I really don't blame him either. I personally wouldn't recommend this place.
We were blown away with the quality of the meals. Ihad the daily specialof Oven Baked Cod, while the wife had the Seafood Combo. I astounded by the firstly the taste and then the attention to detail in the presentation. WOW, the squid was perfectly cooked in Combo. For the $18.90 we paid for each meal we actually got a 5 star restaurant meal.
We have been eating here on a semi regular basis for years. One visit happened to be on a Thursday night and we ended up being at their regular free quiz night. Great fun with Anne Wills (Willsy) no less!! Food and service are good, and prices are too.
Having lunch with the extended family was a pleasant experience. The food quality varied from overcooked to decent. The service was satisfactory. It was nice to spend time with the extended family, but I would not be in a hurry to return. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They offer a seniors lunch menu during the week which is great value. The portion sizes aren't huge but certainly decent enough for the price. Fairly quick service with friendly staff. Happy to return.
