This is a fantastic family-friendly seafood restaurant, featuring a very friendly and capable staff. The prices and portion sizes are more than sufficient, but the ambiance feels stuck in the 1980s. Unfortunately, some local customers tend to be loud and demanding, which detracts from the potential of this well-managed establishment. Change is important, Anthony! Your staff deserves better than rude patrons and entitled locals. It’s time to elevate and evolve. Great job, team!
I recently contacted this restaurant to inquire about prices for a large catering event, specifically needing 30 lobsters weighing 1 1/4 pounds each. When I learned that the price was over $20 per pound, I mentioned that Uncle Giuseppe’s and Stop & Shop were both charging $15 per pound. I was surprised to find their prices 25% higher. I expected a seafood market to offer better rates. The girl’s response was simply, "Then go shop there." I will never buy from them again.
Just ended a long weekend with dinner at Catfish Annie's...the lobster and crab legs were amazing. Mitey our server was professional, efficient and attentive, I apologize for mispeling her name..and Jake her assistant was great. He is quiet but make no mistake on top of his job. Our table was well maintained. Jake removed dirty dishes quickly and always asked if we needed anything. It's nice to have a meal where people care. Thank you!
Catfish Annie's provides outstanding quality in every dish, all within a clean and inviting atmosphere at great prices. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which enhances the overall experience. The fish counter hasTHE BEST quality seafood around. Everything is so fresh and the cooked shrimp are like little steaks. Haven't tasted a better one around. The cocktail souce is the best also.We also love the calamari salad and the lobster salad, which I bring home and make lobster rolls for my wife and myself on a skillet toasted potato bun. ?
Nothing short of amazing family friends for a very long time family business for almost 50 yrs crab cakes out of this world seafood bisque to die for I love the stuffed shrimp.. but whatever you order is top notch food.. staff is excellent and Anthony and his wife are the driving force behind it all!! Best on long island
The food was excellent—fresh and abundant with generous portions. While the atmosphere was just average, the restaurant’s cleanliness stood out. The service was impressive as well. My wife and I will certainly be back!
