We have been dining at Piccolo Mondo for many years but never took advantage of the Lobster special until last night. It was certainly a great value given today’s prices. Two lb lobster with baked potato and corn on a cob. Everyone enjoyed their meals-3 lobsters and 1 entree of scallops on a creamy risotto . The restaurant was packed and the service kept up with full house. Roland had created a wonderful environment with excellent food and very attentive waitstaff.
I had wanted to try Piccolo Mondo for yesrs and finally made the reservation. I had the roasted beet and goat cheese salad, baby artichokes and halibut. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. Service was exceptional. Wine was superb. Restaurant is beautiful. From the outside you would never know how amazing it is in the inside. I can't wait to visit again. Definitely a true gem. Always excellent , great food, great drinks, charming host. Especially like the Double Smoked Old Fashioned.
