However, when we went there the service was very poor the waitresses were cold and made us feel unwelcome (unlike other restaurants we’ve been in Alsace where you are welcoming and friendly). We also saw...a hair in the food and they reluctantly agreed to sort it out, which is again unusual for restaurants. The service took ages too we had to wait about 30 min for our starter to come and in the end spend nearly 3 hours for our visit due to the long delays. Also they did not answer you with French LANGUAGE ! , we communicated in English... We went here on a Sunday where they were exceptionally open. The place was packed. We had the salad with foie grass and the brochette. 2 excellent plates. As dessert we had the dame blanche and merengue. These desserts were pretty big but delicious!! The 3 ladies working here were extremely friendly and helpful. Great wine tips and even with a packed place they took the time. Can truly recommend this place. We spend 89 euro including the wine and 2 appetizers.

Tipico ristorante alsaziano ricavato in una vecchia cantina, ristrutturata ma mantenendo la vecchia struttura intatta e conservata. Piatti tipici serviti con professionalità e cortesia. Da non perdere assolutamente la gigantesca meringa come dessert. In fondo la locale, dove in passato era collocato un vecchio e enorme torchio, è stato ricavato un angolo romantico. Da consigliare assolutamente.
We both took a typical dish : choucroute and jambonneau . Both were delicious (ham was braised for 4 hours so the meat is supertender . The setting is in a cellar and the service was very good I would advise not to take a starter :...the portions are very generous : Worth to look for it.
Nous avons mangé "par hazard" dans ce resto à midi. Quelle surprise! Un service au top et une cuisine excellente. Formule entre plat dessert à 13,50 avec cuisine de qualité, service soigné avec toujours le sourire! Nous recommandons fortement! ! Merci à toute l'équipe pour votre accueil.
... im Herzen der Stadt (des Städtchens). Urige Ausstattung im Kellergewölbe. Die "Schnecken" waren etwas zäh, der Flammkuchen allerdings sehr gut - das Sauerkraut (nicht unbedingt ein Sommergericht) ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Sehr gute lokale Weine, nette Bedienung.

sicuramente per qualità del cibo, cortesia e simpatia uno dei migliori ristoranti della zona, non può mancare la meringa per chiudere la cena, ma ordinatene 1 almeno in due o tre persone perchè è enorme. consigliatissimo.prezzi nella norma.
