This was our first visit to Cerise, but certainly not our last. It is a relatively small but not cramped restaurant in Bryn Mawr, PA. The tables are enough apart to allow for nice conversation, not interrupted by loud music. The restaurant offers only a prix fixe menu, but with several choices within each of the four courses. It is also BYOB, but with a $5 service charge. The food was creatively and carefully prepared and presented. Each of our courses was very tasty. The bread was delicious. Service was friendly, very professional, attentive, and unobtrusive. Our first visit to Cerise. So many people recommended it we decided to finally try. It was excellent. No complaints about either the food or service and it is BYO. Fixed price, pre set menu but with enough options to meet most tastes. I had the Turkish hummus which was very good especially the stuff mixed in with it. Pasta with ham fresh made pasta. And the bronzino. We were seated upstairs near the open kitchen. Not noisy which is a plus. Great evening we will be back.
Dies war unser erstes Mal im Cerise und wir waren sehr angenehm überrascht. Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service warm und aufmerksam. Der Küchenchef konnte die diätetischen Einschränkungen von glutenfrei problemlos berücksichtigen. Die einzige Beschwerde war, dass es etwas laut war. The restaurant has a relaxed and intimate atmosphere, with terrific food that is both inventive and flavorful. It is clear that the menu is the personal vision of a talented chef, with always something creative in the combination of flavors. This is our favorite go-to place, with the pasta course being particularly amazing and the fish always wonderful.

This was a 4 course, price fixe, menu. There were 4 or 5 choices in each category of appetizer, pasta, entree, and dessert. Everything we had was excellent as was the service and the ambiance. Although this meal was priced on the high side, it was well worth it. I'm looking forward to our next special occasion opportunity to return.
The chef is unfailingly capable, blending tastes, textures, and offerings as can only be done in classic haute cuisine. As the restaurant is BYO, be sure to take both a red and a white, to cover all bases.
We went to Cerise for a Christmas dinner with our older family members. The food was excellent. Each course was delicious. We have eaten here many times and it never disappoints.
We enjoyed the food--reasonably priced prix fixe menu. The restaurant is small and intimate; service attentive and efficient. Good place to go on a week night with friends.
