Though there has been a change in ownership, the menu is pretty much unchanged and still as delicious as in the past and such a good value. I chose Chalet Ticino because a restaurant in Foster City would save minutes of driving for my guest, who was coming from Berkeley. I had never been to the restaurant before, but it had good reviews and was convenient to Highway We ate outside and had a really pleasant lunch. We both chose the chicken Caesar salad, which was very good. The restaurant is quiet, small and has a nice ambiance. The server was quite nice and solicitous. My only very minor comment is that when the server asked if we wanted coffee, she told us that the restaurant could not provide any specialty coffees. Small point
Turns out it was closing in two days, and that was not soon enough. Waited for an hour for meals to come out and they were wrong. Then spent longer in the bathroom, if you know what I mean. Price was an arm and a leg, but cost me my stomach. My mom could not cut the cheese even though it was melted! "Check Please" gave it three thumbs up, our party of five all agree this was one of the worst experience, ever
Get together with friends at this lovely restaurant! Sad part is, we all had a Fabulous time and they are closing at the end of January and looking for somewhere to relocate! The ambiance was delightful and cozy. The Food was DeeLish! The service was excellent! They didn’t rush us and were extremely nice! So sad they are closing and we are going to try to go back before they do

Little disappointing...I did not receive a call that with the change in management beer and wine were not being served. I was told that I could go and bring my own but it was not feasible for me. The restaurant was told that we were celebrating a birthday but we did not receive any well wishes unlike a party at another table
Will miss Chalet Ticino one of the few Swiss/Italian places around with unique dishes freshly made. Closing at the end of the month as site sold to build an elementary school. Hope the owners find a new location
We liked the decoration, esp. the area outside the restaurant. It's great for a warm summer day lunch/brunch. The food was good and the service was excellent
