We had a very nice time. Beers and starters. We 'll be back. I preferred the vegetarian spring rolls to the wings. So good in fact we ordered a second plate (of spring rolls).This Place is an institution, and our server was efficient and good.Mar 7,I very much appreciate the reply from the restaurant. I really look forward to getting out here again, and ordering the Wings. My sense is 'they are always on the move, tweaking and polishing this fine gem. Our second visit was for dinner on a Saturday night when the place was bustling. We were pleased to have the same waiter, who demonstrated great attention to detail, clearly showcasing his experience in the hospitality industry. Once again, the service was excellent and the food was abundant. The white wine was nicely chilled, but similar to many other Canadian establishments, the draft lager/beer didn’t have the same head as in Europe, making it appear somewhat flat. Nonetheless, the beer at Chances R still tasted great.
This restaurant has been around for ages, and although we’ve dined here a few times in the past, it’s been a while since our last visit. The place was bustling on a Wednesday night at 5:30 PM, mainly filled with seniors. Our server, Samantha, provided prompt and friendly service. We ordered a bacon cheeseburger with fries and a steak sandwich with a salad, both of which were quite tasty. Our food arrived very quickly. The total bill came to $60, which included two soft drinks, tax, and excluding the tip.
We visited this restaurant for breakfast after quite some time, having been in Alberta. We were pleasantly surprised - the breakfast was fantastic and delicious, the home fries were exceptional, and the coffee kept flowing. Our experience was wonderful, and we definitely plan to return. Location is king for this restaurant fabulous! Service was excellent. Food was good but not great. There were 6 of us and we had a variety of apps and meals from different areas of the menu. Steak had lots of gristle and grease, and other meals were good. If we are back, it is for the location but would probably go elsewhere for better food.
Had an absolutely fabulous time at Chances R. We are on the patio, the food was delicious the company was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a spot to eat .Kid-friendliness: Has a nice kid friendly menu to choose from that the child can color as well.
Good selection of dishes with Mediterranean flair. Everyone was happy with their dinners and appetizers. The best part was the service which was prompt, accommodating and super friendly.
