We came for early lunch before we take our baby home. As with most places in Evora, the advertised opening time is usually a bit earlier than they are actually willing to serve, but they were happy that we sit outside on a table for 15 minutes until they were ready and they suddenly hurry to welcome us. The outdoor area is beautiful and in the shade at noon. We had some of the daily specials that were delicious, although a little on the small side. And then two desserts that were both excellent. Service was friendly and helpful and overall it was a good experience
One of favourites in Evora. Located in a slightly quieter let of the town this cafe/restaurant really felt a level above anywhere else we had tried. We had melted regional cheese and jam, black park sausage, fried squid, the crumbled codfish and black pork cheeks, all extremely delicious and served with impeccable timing by the owner, allowing us to enjoy and savour each dish with white sangria and local beer (only 2euros! 100% worth a visit
Pequeno restaurante no entanto das mais acolhedoras que está em Évora. Tentamos 6 pratos e 2 sobremesas. A qualidade e o gosto de tudo é indescritível. Shrimp Flounder é chorar e comer por mais. O bolo de maçã com bola de sorvete ainda está em memória (e eu não costume como doces de maçã! . Um obrigado a John para o serviço 5*.
Apreciamos um excelente almoço nesta pequena jóia de restaurante. Comi camarões com alho amanteigados, macios, com alho e simplesmente deliciosos! Já se passaram algumas semanas desde a nossa visita e ainda estou sonhando com eles. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Enjoyed an excellent lunch at this little gem of a restaurant. I had the garlic prawns buttery, tender, garlicky and just utterly delicioso! It’s been a couple of weeks since our visit snd I’m still dreaming about them.

Incredible food. Go there pronto. Everything we had was excellent: Sauteéd mushrooms, peppers stuffed with tuna, regional cheese and jam, beef with mustard, and the apple cake. Sooooo good!
