fantastic! he had a meal in her bistro restaurant and the staff was very friendly, the place was very clean and the eating was fabulous. very generous portion sizes and a large selection. I had her chapelbank tower, a stack of steak, haggis, black pudding, twirl rings and a mushroom, with a whisky jus, served with veg and a choice of clobigen chips or maische. for a very reasonable price a bit below £20. highly recommended. her house red wine is a merlot that was very tasty. would always go back.
enjoyed a nice meal here with my partner and ordered from the valentins menu. the suppe was devine and the scallops boiled to perfection. the service was brilliant and the waitresses could not have been more attentive than we both felt it was the gloomy. we had a cheesecake and a pfirsich. we couldn't eat, but maybe it's just our taste. all in all fantastic meals. also what is going on with the decor could do with a wrap and the disappearing of the glassy
what a great place. our room was beautiful. very spacious and very clean. super comfortable, large bed and tastefully decorated. our evening meal was delicious and very cheap. a lot of choice. the personal was excellent. very friendly, helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. will definitely return and highly recommend.
Great food and reasonably priced. We had our wedding reception here it was fantastic. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Though limited with space our wedding was small 38 in total so it was perfect for us. Often visit for coffee, lunch and evening meal.
