Sunday brunch is always good here! surprisingly inexpensive **** marys and mimosas $5 per! Today, unfortunately, our first mimoses were not very cold. there was a jazz trio game that was just a bit loud for us because we were right next to them. we enjoyed them, but it is the reason for my noise level class (3/4). I don't think they could be quieter, and it was a good volume for the room. service is always top note at char – a very professional staff! we love this place.
in any case worth a visit! the service was on site, a little quiet for a later lunch. they would not recommend the garlic-mash potatoes it was the consistency expected from powder instant potatoes but the broccolini and steaks were perfectly prepared!
I recently dined at Char during the 2020 pandemic. Since it was not very busy, we were seated right away without needing a reservation. The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

The brunch options were fantastic. The crab cake benedict was delicious. The jazz trio in the bar added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere.
Celebrated our 20th anniversary at Char. One of the best meals I have had in some time! The 8 oz filet was awesome! Great service, too.
Char is an excellent restaurant with a wide variety of bourbons and delicious steaks. I will definitely be returning.
