There are only certain places that were there forever and still remain one of these places to experience. I loved this place since I first visited a decade ago. They are cash only so have some on hand or are ready to use the ATMs. They use freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juice for their screwdrivers, grapefruits, etc. The juice is brilliant and something they are known for. Your margaritas are also pretty good. They pour pretty hard, so be prepared. The free popcorn is always the right amount of oil and salt to the bowls they offer are generous. They had a food truck outside the terrace, but we didn't take part. All in all this is another of the Moines establishment I hope to be able...
This is a fun little bar when you go to a concert in Val Air. It's full of regular But we didn't feel judged as an outsider when we came in. It's an old building with a diving bar But there are certain things that feel like someone really cares. For example, the beverages such as screwdrivers and grapples are made with fresh, pressed juice, the bartender turns the glasses, and everyone has welcomed how they run in the door. The only drawback is that it is a bar, and the ATMs were down so we had to go.
Great spot for brunch! It can get quite crowded. I mean, they have beignets! If you order those, you'll definitely need some extra hands. I’d recommend skipping the fruit as a side; we found it wasn't worth it.
