Just delightful. We were at a table right by the windows with a beautiful view of the river. Our server was bright, cheerful, friendly, patient, and attentive. The food was superb. Maple miso salmon, chimichurri steak, prime rib, and seafood 'pot pie ' (sans pot) were just fantastic. Everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors of each dish were spot on, from the maple glaze counterpoint to the salmon, to the spice of the chimichurri sauce, to the sweeter flavors of the pot pie. chart house was both a delicious and pleasant surprise! after my first visit I spent an evening with various appetizers, while my wife decided to try the strip steak. at the beginning I had calamari with a marinara sauce and it was fresh, tasty and much more than I had eaten. My husband and I went here over the weekend for an anniversary celebration. The hostess was prompt and greeted us as soon as we walked in and kept us updated on how long it would take for the table after confirming the reservation. The server was very knowledgeable on the menu and suggestions for dinner. The restaurant made us a anniversary dessert which was delicious and they even made special menus with Happy Anniversary on them and we got to keep them which was very special to us. What a great surprise, we considered going across to Cincinnati to eat at Ruby's but stayed on this side of the river and we were not disappointed. My wife had the special Mahi with crab and shrimp she loved it. I had the Filet which Jeremy our waiter admitted that it may not have the same taste as Jeff Ruby's. It turned out delicious, with 3x smashed potatoes and creamed Spinach. Excellent service and fresh delicious meal. Jeremy walked us through appetizers to the chocolate lava cake for dessert. If you are in the Newport area and looking for a great dinning experience, could not recommend this restaurant high enough. You won't be disappointed.

my wife and I had a wonderful experience here. the food and drinks were excellent and had a table with a great view of the city. the waiting staff was extremely attentive. Finally, 't had a better experience and will certainly return. very recommended for all fans of seafood. we enjoyed our kokos garnelen appetizer, my wife enjoyed their chart their cure options with steak and shrimp, and the chef 's special (bronzed Mahi-Mahi with crab meat,) which I had excellent.
We were visiting family from out of town. The staff was very attentive and the food was great. They had a great selection of desserts as well. The view over the river was spectacular at the time of day we visited. The only negative was that we had two people at the table that didn't like seafood or steak and there was only 1 chicken option, so they felt limited. Overall it was good and I would recommend to others.
Visited Ohio for the first time. On the bank of Ohio River across for our suit we where overjoyed to discover the Chart House. We grew up in Southern California the Chart Houses from Los Angles to San Diego where our favorites! On the river we had a had a taste for fish we selected swordfish, snapper salmon, all where delicious. The lemon herb crusted salmon was the highlight of the three!!

absolutely wonderful atmosphere and a very knowledgeable waiter. the foods were carefully processed so that each part added its pieces. I am definitiw back.
Everything at Chart House was great! The staff was friendly and answered our questions. The salmon and dessert was delicious!
