Discovered this place a year ago after someone suggested it. We have been back many times and the staff recognize us and are really friendly and so nice! We went last Saturday night and as usual they were really busy and a big group was waiting for a big table. I had never seen the place so busy they couldn't even keep up cleaning up the tables so they could sit and serve other clients. It was clear they were shortstaffed, but regardless as soon as we were sitting down someone came to take our order and or food came after 5-10 minutes. Their soup is the best ! The ambience was good, many families because they have really good family packages and yet not noisy.We ask for recommendations to the waiter and we order two plates to share. We ordered the lamb and the saffron chicken. The entrance soup was very tasty and warm. The lamb was ok but the saffron chicken was amazing! My first visit to this Persian restaurant was a delight. Although I'm not a fan of meat, I must say that the assortment of grilled beef/chicken/lamb on skewers will have anyone drooling. The meats are delicately spiced & well marinated making them melt-in-your-mouth tender. Our vegetarian friends enjoyed the hummus, baba ghanouj, vine leaves & tabouleh. The rice pilaf was also good. Service was great & for our large group it came to about $12 each with tax.They could add a real touch of class by serving it all with freshly baked pita instead of the usual factory fare. They should also consider enclosing the foyer to prevent a cold blast from coming in everytime a customer walks in.

If you like Middle-eastern food (especially, Lebanese food), Chateau Kabab is definitely a place to go for lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is authentic, the service is friendly and good and the food is so tasty and cleanly cooked!Exceptional Baba-Ganouj, tasty soup and rice and good quality of Kabab - fresh ground meat and nice cooking.
We are regular customers...we now go every Saturday for dinner...service is AMAZING...the food is REALLY REALLY good...the owner and all staff members are super friendly and very polite! If you are looking for a great meal at a great price, this is the place to go!
My wife and I receive our food in a timely manner in which we were appreciative, the lentil soup and the salad excellent, the rest of our food very good, the staff good and the washrooms poor So we rate this place a 3.5
Went there with a huge group. Great service! Enjoyed their BBQ platters. Portions are great! Would definitely recommend a visit if you're in the West Island.
