Always loved this place. A great disappointment today, Christmas Day when many people were expected. Sesame chicken was tough and tasteless. The fried rice and had no flavor. We asked for white chicken in the rice and we were charged an extra $3.50, when we shouldn 't have even been charged for the dish. The was no wonton soup and no hot tea! The owner was there when we came in, but we could not find him to complain about our meal. This was the only Chinese place we liked when we moved here from NY. Now we have no place to go that we know of. So sad. : P.S. the 5 stars are from a visit we made last year. This time I would give only one star, if that.
I absolutely love dining here whenever we’re in the St. Louis area. The owners remembered us from four years ago when we celebrated my birthday with a party. They offer a diet menu featuring steamed proteins and vegetables. I ordered dish D8, which includes steamed prawns, chicken, and scallops with veggies. I requested that they omit the carrots and baby corn. However, the cook misread the order and only brought shrimp at first, but the chicken and scallops arrived shortly after. This is definitely a restaurant worth visiting!
Very friendly staff, both in person and over the phone. Good menu with offerings for everyone. I got the Buddhist Delight which was very good, veggies were cooked just perfect. Ample parking and easy seating and pickup. Also, they still use oyster pales for their food, not just their rice which by itself is worth a star. I hate those plastic clear lid easy to spill impossible to hold while eating containers a lot of Chinese places use now. Can’t figure out why either as oyster pales are cheaper and more convenient to the user
Ping was fantastic! I chose to order from here because my sister absolutely loves their food. He took the time to speak with me multiple times over the phone to ensure that my order was correct. Words can't say enough about how delicious this place is! We love it! I haven't had a chef's special here that I haven't loved. Favorites are definitely the tien-fu chicken and the sesame beef or chicken. Hearty portion sizes and always fresh and delicious. I wish we could make it out there more. 5 stars!
I always have a fantastic experience here. The comfort Chinese food is delightful, and when they say crispy, they really mean it—it's always delicious! The owners and staff are incredibly nice as well. The sesame chicken is excellent, and we always order the hot and sour soup. It's truly wonderful!
