I like Egg's Benny, so when I heard that this "Cafe Stella" had Eggs benny- I had to try it! First let me say- We cook healthy and good at home, which affects the judgement and therefor don't go out to eat too often... I had their eggs benny with the ham. ( My favorite is back bacon) I really didn't care for the homemade biscuit, under the egg and sauce, it made the biscuit way too soggy (since I like my egg soft). The sauce was ok. They deep fry large cubed potatoes which, I think is a sin! Hashbrowns should be grilled NOT deep fried. -Again my opinion, I used to be in the field.My husband had the scrambler, he didn't care for their strong sausage. The homemade jam was great, but unfortunat...
I had lunch at Chef Stella's with a group of friends. I was expecting "greasy spoon" fare for some reason and was pleasantly surprised by the menu. Chef Stella's has a diner atmosphere, but the food is more typical of some of the trendier lunch places in the city. Prices were decent I thought (low side of mid-range) and portions were large. My turkey and cranberry wrap was one of the specials -- not sure if special because it was an off-menu item or price (or both) - and it was delicious. The turkey tasted like it had been roasted on-site and was served with a lovely, crisp generous salad. Everyone in our group said their food was enjoyable. I would definitely go back.
Went to Stella's for breakfast with family as I always do when in Lethbridge. It never disappoints. Great value, warm and friendly service, excellent food. I can't always get poached eggs in restaurants but that's never a problem here. She makes her own jam and sausage and those are both worth the visit. I've been in for lunch as well and again, am always pleased. No pretense here.
If you want an amazing lunch that is fresh and hearty, Stella will provide that! The specials are always awesome, the take out counter has great variety and great service, and the atmosphere is relaxed! The salads are huge and delicious! The lasagne is WOW! A great place to hit on your lunch break!!!
Great place to drop in for a quick lunch. Had the clam chowder soup special. Delicious and hearty. BLT wrap was excellent. Bacon in the wrap was cooked perfectly with a nice crisp but still tender too. Loved it so much! Will be back.
Met up with family for a late breakfast. Love the atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Everything made from scratch. I had the traditional eggs Benedict, and home fries. Affordable and good coffee.
I'm not normally a meat eater but the spicy Italian sausage here is so good that I have to order it. The menu here is fantastic, the service is great, and vibe is awesome.
Webt for lunch in this little gem. The Italian sandwiches were very tasty. The garlic bread was excellent. The servers were attentive and the food cane out fast.
Hands down BEST Meatball I've ever had!! The Meatball Sub is the stuff dreams are made of! I highly recommend the sub and the lasagna!!!
