We haven't eaten here for years and decided to visit again. The café has become a chic little bistro and she? ve has updated it nicely. My husband and I reserved a table (reservations a must! for last night and received a stand we prefer. Wonderful attentive service. Spoke to the chef and his wife waiting for tables about her phenomenal and inexpensive wine list. We chose our old favorites, mine, the foie grass and the chicken in dijon sauce with mushrooms. My husband had steamed asparagus spikes to begin and beautiful lamb chops. Sensational. This is such a quaint and cozy bistro. Quiet atmosphere?perfect for catching up with friends. I had the French onion soup, the fois gras dish, and a crepe for dessert. Everything was tasty and perfectly proportioned (unless you are only used to American restaurants with massive dishes). My only complaint is that there was an odd smell in the restaurant, but my friend who had been there before assured me that this was not usual for the place.
We made our reservations for outside and arrived to a beautifully set table out front. It was clear early on that this restaurant has a very special feel to it. The inside is comforting and everything is authentically French- from the wall paintings to the thorough wine menu. All the food served looked exquisite and tasted so, too. The attention to detail is what makes this restaurant a stand out. Very enjoyable dining experience!
Authentic French cuisine, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. The portions are generous, and the food truly reflects the quality and authenticity you'd expect in France. Beyond words. I've never used this word to describe a restaurant before but it fits: magical. The food, the friendly service, everything. Even the prices are affordable compared to other French restaurants! Just amazing. If you want a Real French Dinner, eat here. If you are reading this--just eat here. You'll see. We're definitely coming back!!!

Outside Burgundy, one of the best French experiences we have? She ever had that. Really authentic, very attentive, along with a fantastic wine list. If you are ever in Belleair Bluff/Clearwater/Tampa/St. Pete, Chez Collette?s is highly recommended.

came here on a Friday night for dinner with some friends. I've been driving by a lot, but never before. Let me tell you the food was INCREDIBLE! I wish I had gone before! The staff was very friendly and the cooking was exquisite!
