Go to Chez Fonfon when they open at 4:30 on a Saturday, sit at the bar, have a nice cocktail and take in the fun that unfolds as time goes on.....good conversation with the bartender, food that is top notch, music with a French flair. What’s not to love? Oh, and take a dessert to go for home- from an award winning pastry chef
What else is there to say? It's an institution for a reason. It's my favorite place to have dinner at in Birmingham, bar none. The service, wine, and food are an unstoppable force.Try whatever your server recommends to have an assuredly great time. If you haven't been, drop everything and go now. Like, right now.
This place was amazing. We loved everything from the appetizers to the dessert. My trout and kale was well seasoned. My coconut cake was out of this world. The atmosphere was on point for my friend bday celebration and the server was so attentive. Everything was perfect !!!
Great atmosphere, outstanding service, the food fabulous and delicious great flavor seasoning and fresh herbs and vegetables. Had the salmon cooked to chef recommendations and it melted in your mouth like butter. And yes the steak tartar is the best I have ever had! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I have never had anything less than 5 star service and food. It's amazing how close french cuisine is so close to our southern flavors and food. Frank does an incredible job pulling it all together. And I hear the burger is the best in town. Next trip!
Best place. Get there early because they don't take reservations. The food is great, the prices are reasonable and the service is quick,friendly and professional. Not a negative thing about this place.
The atmosphere is perfect and you can't go wrong with any of the food items on the menu. If you're looking for the best burger in town, look no further! A+ in all areas!!!
