When we went through roulette, we were hungry. with my family we sat a little random in chez arthur, attracted by prices and good smell. French dishes, rather from the southwest of the French (although the rochelle is not exactly in the area that is considered as the Sud-Ouest ducks roasted, foie grás and other riches for a reasonable price (even there is a full menu from 15 euros) a good place for those who walk and eager to taste the French cuisine of reasonable price within the city, near the port and the smell of the bon sea!
Stumbled across this place by accident and we were not disappointed. It was packed full of locals, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The music was like stepping back in time in some European time warp, but it just seems like everyone knows it's going to happen and you just somehow go with it. The manager does the rounds, keeping everyone happy, singing songs, directing the clientelle, dancing and singing and drinking. It's a must go to place to visit. When I return to La Rochelle, I will definitely be visiting again.
A few steps from the rock towers, in a small alley, a wonder! a must-see place for the rocks but also those of passage like us. the blossoming little bistro is the friendliness in the pure state, the human heat, the great parts of the rigolade and that people who do not take themselves seriously. always unforgettable and successful evenings. home kitchen with local fresh products, and a well-filled bar to continue the evening. Come on!
a stop that we will not forget in this bar in January to deceive in the new year! an atmosphere overflowed in a deliciously retro kitsch with floral and colourful motifs with a happy, lively and dancing team and clientele. We felt like we were home. What is the beginning of the year?

Best way to describe this bar is bohemian. A real lovely place with a lovely crowd and a range of clientele who know how to have a good time. It was a real find with live music and a fab relaxed vibe. Worth checking g out.

Great fun, I love music. But they let too many people go home, so we can't eat, and very complicated to dance without getting sluggish
