"It’s really really good. They have a variety of entrés and main. The chef knows what he is doing because everything we ordered was delicious. Also the ice cream is spectacular! Don’t miss it. Prices are not high at all."

This is a nice, simple bar and restaurant specialising in Auvergne regional dishes. We went in winter when the menu was very limited however it was nice to sit in the big front window in the winter sun and have Sunday lunch looking out over the small village square. Our starter - Salade Auvergnat was excellent - fresh green salad mixed with chopped ham, Salers cheese and Bleu Auvergne cheese. Our main course was lightly spiced veal chunks and mushroom dish with truffade; it was quite good although my veal was a bit grissly and the truffade not as good as some I've had in Cantal. The desert was excellent - home-made raspberry tart with lovely crisp, thin pastry. Total cost for two with coffee...

A friendly bar/restaurant which is popular with both locals and tourists. There is a dark bar at the back with the restaurant tables in a covered glass terrace at the front, with more tables outside overlooking the village square. Traditional Auvergnat fare is served in generous portions and fairly priced. Service is very friendly and efficient. Locals told us this was the best place to eat in the village.
