We didn't know that in Hyeres everything close quiet early. We arrived at Chez Lulu desperate but the place was full. The owner (or we think she was the owner) was very understanding and asked us to have an "Aperitif" next door and she would let us know when one table would be available. She came back several time to make sure we were okay while waiting. The food was good quality italian, very generous portions and delicious.
A beautiful sunny winters day allowed us to sit outside at this charming restaurant. Blankets were provided for the cold but we're not required. A shared starter of antipasto was ample for 2 and delicious. The pasta dish that followed was also of ample portion and excellent. The friendy staff made this a very pleasant lunch. This is not my 1st time here and won't be my last.
I will start with the only negative point of the evening: waiting the dishes don't come out very quickly But the wait is worth it. The waitress, very nice, explained all the dishes with precision Everything makes you want Pasta is succulent and original: Cuites al dente For dessert the chocolate cake, fine powder instead of flour) is super good.
We had to wait to be seated, after 5 min we seated our self. After additional 12 min we received the menu and were asked which apetizer we would like additional 5 min later they asked us if we have an reservation. Another visit to chez Lulu.4 people shared 2 starter and it was ample and delicious. I chose a pasta dish for my main course. A Ligurian dish of troffi-pasta haricot verts and potatoes. It was superb. Just a tip, if Mama is cooking be sure to take a good appetite with you. Prices are reasonable and food excellent.
If you have enough restaurants without souls that are simply “middle” I recommend this restaurant. The bosses are passionate and authentic and it feels in the plate and in the reception. Top service, good advice for dishes ... Just perfect! My favorite restaurant in Hyeres!
Very nice place to have an informal dinner. People serving are very kind. The food was good, well served. Strongly suggested the Parmigiana of eggplants! Also the desserts look good! Very big plate of pasta. Good price!

Everything was gathered, smells, flavours, but also kindness and friendliness of waitresses. She explains every dish with passion. Very good Italian cuisine I recommend!
