Chez Nathan is why we stayed so long in Pont de Royan. The town/village is wonderful, a find, a magical spot in our lives. The staff so very friendly and try to please at every opportunity. We had a 2 course meal with a bottle of wine on a magnificent balcony overlooking the river Borne for 60 Euros!!!! We also spent many an afternoon trying to speak awful French sipping beer and eating nuts with our 2 dogs. The dogs didnt say much.
