This is a tiny shop in the downtown area which continually makes this unique confection throughout the day. Originally created in the shadow of the large dune (du Pilot) perhaps 20 miles West of Bordeaux, it used to be that folks had to drive out to that area and import them to Bordeaux proper. The creator finally opened a shop in downtown in 2016. Go in and order just one to taste. After that, you will order a dozen or more. I'm not sure I can do justice to them by way of description, but here goes: A light puff pasty filled with whipped cream mixed with a vanilla cream. we stopped in this small pastry shop in the heart of burgundy during our visit to the city attracted by the desire to try this typical treat. apt choice, it is a kind of bignè, and I recommend that stuffed with the chantilly cream. The only problem is that one pulls the other. That's good.
