I've been a loyal customer for a very long time, well before they relocated to this spot. The food is fantastic! I absolutely love the beef! You can't go wrong with a Chicago dog or a Maxwell St. sausage and fries either. I have to be honest—Chicago Mike's surpasses Potrillos in my opinion! The staff here is incredible; they're always eager to accommodate special requests like splitting and grilling the hot dogs. I usually order two large beefs (feel free to judge me), and they stagger them for me so I can savor them while they're fresh and hot. The customer service here is exceptional. Thanks a lot! I really love this place!
I am visiting Denver...and I had the urge for Italian beef. I was skeptical having had so many disappointing wannabes outside of my favorite Chicago haunts. OMG a superb Italian beef sandwich...on par with several better than average Chicago beef joints. I was amazingly surprised at an extraordinary Italian beef treat, drenched in aus jus with hot giardiniera. Excellent!! Shocked that the place wasn't packed...but perhaps Denver is slow to realize a Midwestern gem lies right in their midst.
Absolutely delicious! Although I'm not usually one to write reviews, I have to say this Italian Beef is the best I've ever had, even better than what I've tried in Illinois. My wife, who is from the Chicago area, and I have been on the hunt for anything remotely close to Chicago's Italian Beef since we met 36 years ago, and our search has finally ended. Mike's hits it out of the park! I tried to go back today, but they’re closed on Sundays (which I think is great for them—extra points!).
This is my second home! I wish I had discovered this place sooner. The beef tastes just like home, and the bread is perfect! The classic Chicago hot dog is spot on. My wife is a big fan of the chicken sandwich! I would give it a 10/10 and visit every day of the week if I could!

Everything about this place is absolutely perfect. Authentic beefs, and dogs, you are guaranteed to have a great meal. Had a beef with mild giardiniera, nice and juicy, and perfect crispy fries, will be back!
Two people got sick after eating here, one vomiting all night. They're like gas-station hot dogs with restaurant prices. Really gross place, with service that seems annoyed you are there.
Been coming here for years. Finally thought I should tell others how awesome this spot is. Today I got Chicago dogs, they were delicious! Usually the Italian Beef is my go to.
Today I visited Chicago Mike's and ordered a big beef to go and the meat is very soft, has a good texture and I loved the juice. I will return to the same place.
