I admit, I was also like this until I was drawn through the amazing smell of chicken soup from Chicken Pho You's San Mateo branch. Unfortunately, they are no longer open in SM, so imagine my joy when I found another branch in Millbrae! I love noodle soups and this place serves my second favorite dish. We have #1 chicken pho in large and #21 rare beef with shaft in small. Both have a nice taste for the broth, which is why I gave 4 stars. But really his 3.5 star. Portion doesn't really fit because the little ones had the same or more than my big one. Came here on Saturday morning. Not busy. After we set ourselves at 9:30, a lot of people came in. Had chicken, shrimp pork dumplings (won ton) with noodles (big noodles such as chow fun (but soup style) and beef stew with noodles (same type of noodles) were also overlaid. I wish this place was around the corner from where I live. The chicken soup is delicious and the big pho.... It's big. I could barely finish and I can eat a lot. Cant wait to go back and try more !!
