My wife ordered takeout from Chilies in Brackenbury, London. Would you wait 1 hour and 40 minutes for your takeout order? Imagine this kind of delay in a restaurant. This practice of taking payment before delivering food needs to stop! The naan bread was awful, the starters were cold, and the dishes all looked the same. The food delivery industry should be held accountable like restaurants. The pandemic has led to a surge in business but a decrease in quality, attention to detail, and customer service. My experience at the restaurant was very disappointing. The meal for two that I ordered for £33 arrived 45 minutes late and cold. The food was of poor quality and extremely spicy to the point of being inedible. The chicken tikka main dish only had three small pieces of chicken and a tough chicken thigh. The vegetable curry was also lacking in ingredients. The naan bread was not properly packaged and arrived in a paper bag. My son's meal was equally disappointing and came with cheap tomato sauce packets. Despite trying to communicate our dissatisfaction with Deliveroo, we were only offered a 25% refund. This is one of the best Indians I have ever had. You can tell from the very first bits that they're flavours and ingrediants are quality. Its clean and really delicious and if that wasn't enough they are really cheap. I have never eaten such great quality food for such a low price in London. I can't recommend highly enough, if you feel like a full flavoured excellent quality Indians I promise you won't go wrong ordering from here. I have had several take aways now and tasted several curry's from the menu and never been let down. I wish I could pop in and thank the chef and syaff, maybe after covid days!
I can't eat garlic which makes ordering Indian incredibly tricky. H, the chef, is incredibly accommodating and has twice now made me my own dish. Both were some of the best curries I've ever had! We shall be reordering again and again! My brother also requested that we order naans to go with the curry I made recently as he loved them so much. I couldn't recommend Chillies more! Ordered a take away delivery on a Saturday night had to wait over a hour which was fine as they were busy . Ordered Tandori chicken was really good. Ordered a prawn curry , taste was nice only but really watery not like a proper curry spoiled it. Everything else was nice I would try again hopefully just a one off
this little takeaway shop is very friendly, very tasty Indian , and most of all they will alter a recipe for your preference, nothing is too much trouble , from milder version of a particular curry to double coriander , can't say enough for this little local gem .
Great Indian takeaway. The service is fantastic and the food always very tasty. It is not your typical every high street Indian as the food just seems to be somehow better. I would recommend this to anyone in the area
