I gave my order to my son to collect from Chillis on 22/10/22. The order was for a chicken tikka masala, onion bhajis, Bombay potatoes, plain rice and a Peshwari naan. When my son brought the food home, I could see straight away that food colouring had been used in the chicken tikka masala as it was bright red but what was most disappointing is that I had been charged £10.95 for it and it only had seven pieces of chicken in it and two of those pieces were quite small. If I could give zero stars I would. Please believe me when I say this isn't an exaggeration. My delivery took just under THREE HOURS to arrive. Granted, it was new year's Day, but their website said 50mins. After an hour and a half, we called a few times, but no answer. Did online chat who kept promising 5 mins, then 15 mins, then another 30mins. We finally called again and got through to be told that they must have MISSED OUR ORDER, so we were lied to. They again said 30 mins. When it arrived, the food was like warm, the naan was soggy, and half the dish was onion. No refund offered. We were instead given a voucher to laughably use next time. Not a chance. Make better food. Get a better sys...
The order arrived an hour later than it was supposed to. I ordered tikka masala, but it was too red and didn't taste like tikka masala at all - instead, it tasted like coconut, which I hate. The poppadoms were soggy, the food was cold overall, and even the chips were hard. As a student, I paid a lot for this meal, which arrived at 10:03 pm when it was supposed to be delivered by 9:10 pm. I am very unhappy with this experience and would like a refund. I plan to leave a negative review on all platforms.
Unfortunately we are not in the delivery catchment for Chillis, but we made a special trip to try this renowned takeaway favourite following their recent relaunch. True to their name, there was nice kick of chilli throughout all of the dishes and I particularly enjoyed the extra spice in the samosas very tasty! Would recommend.

We have been going to Chilli's for a few years now and it is still fantastic. As an Asian person, I prefer my curries to be flavorful and spicy, and this restaurant always meets my expectations. They also make delicious samosas, which is a great addition. The delivery is always very fast as well.
First takeaway since their refurb. The food was unpalatable. Bhaji greasy and tasteless. Chicken tough, roti tough. Nothing fresh or appetising. Oh, the poppadom was ok. Last time using. So disappointing.
The food was terrible. I can't believe it wasn't from a jar, and definitely not a good one. The masala was so sweet, it must have been made with sugar. The poppadoms were decent.
Tandoori mixed grill was great. Samosas light, crispy, and not dripping with fat. Enjoyed every morsel, will definitely order from here again
