Went for lunch on a Sunday there was a few people but by no means busy. Ordered chicken dumplings and fried rice, simple dishes. We were asked by the waitress if we would like them all together to which we replied yes. Fried rice came out 15 minutes later we asked about the dumplings. They weren't ready, another 10ish minutes pass and we finally get them. By this stage the rice was cold so that was disappointing. We then went to pay and I almost fell over when I was told they had a $25 minimum for card! $25!! Card minimums are a joke in all cases but $25 minimum was taking the ****. Was told by the older lady that she would have to charge us $25 instead of the $22 we owed. Yeah.... No, didn'...

Went there for lunch, and was greeted by the most ratchet waitress. She was incapable of comprehending my requests for dumplings - totally unintelligible by speech, and had no knowledge of dumpling cuisine. The assorted dumplings arrived on a bamboo steam basket and to my disbelief, the portions were minuscule and I would personally only recommend it to an ant family for three. Soup dumplings? Don't think so - they were comparable to dry, bland meatballs. Very disappointed with my experience, I do not wish it upon my worst enemies.
Are there no good dumpling restaurants in Canberra?
I'm not usually one to write a negative review but this place took the cake.
They were super busy (which you usually assume is a sign.of a good restaurant)
I was barely greeted by a rude reception woman, stood in front of her for a good few minutes before she noticed me and anothwr customer.
First off my food was Luke warm at best and I had been waiting nearly an hour...
Thw chicken was over cooked as well as the duck and pork I was looking foward to but it was so bad I had some and threw it in the bin.
I will not be returning anytime soon..

I really liked this place. Ya sometimes the servers are busy and maybe you don't get the attention all the time that you want...but they respond quickly if you ask for something.
We had the beef and coriander dumpling and vegetarian dumpling. They were delicious.
Also, even though they don't serve alcohol, they are happy for you to go to Liquorland, two doors down , and bring it back to the restaurant.
Worst dry chilli beef I have ever had, I guess there was mis communication despite pouting to what I wanted on the menu cause we got 10 fried pork buns instead of 10 fried dumplings. The filling was ok but bread was dry and yuk. Steamed green Chinese broccoli was the winner with steamed rice.
This restaurant has a great range of Chinese dumplings and other Chinese dishes at great prices. The quality of food and service is great, although it can be bit noisy. Not the place for an intimate meal, but highly recommend nonetheless. :-))
Great asian food at a decent price. My personal faves are the peking duck and pancakes, stir-fried beans with xo sauce and hot & sour soup. Dumplings are small and slightly pricey for my liking, but I will definitely come back here again.

Best dumplings in Canberra region. Roast duck are so tasty as well. Great experience this time. Although was a bit lack of service due to was crazy busy on the Friday night.
Very tasty roast duck with fresh greens and nice portion size. Refreshing green tea - thoroughly recommended!
A great place to eat at next time you visit Woden!
