We (my mum and I) stayed at Edinburgh Airport last Saturday (25th May 2024) ahead of a very early flight on Sunday morning. As we were deciding where to eat on Saturday evening, we found this restaurant and made the decision to try it...a decision certainly worthwhile! Upon arrival, it was incredibly busy with reservations, but the staff team were incredibly accommodating and were very efficient when juggling tables/seats around to fit us in! The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and kind during our visit and they went above and beyond with their service. Living in London, I'm a frequent visitor to Soho's Chinatown and hands down the food at this restaurant was arguably better than anyth...
While looking at the menu, we received some complimentary Prawn crackers, such a lovely gesture . We both ordered the spring rolls, which came with a slightly spicy sauce and nothing were delicious. Our main courses of Beef with Green Pepper and Black Bean sauce and Szechuan Chicken arrived shortly afterwards, along with some egg fried rice and Noodles( both served in a wooden lidded bowl). Both dishes were amazing. We ordered a bottle of wine and and the waitress kept coming back and pouring it for us, again a lovely touch. Bill for 2 of us with the service charge came to around £50.00 and it was definitely value for money.
Six of us, first time in the Manor House. The atmosphere and ambience was apparent immediately. Service was with a smile and a sense of humour that made our experience all the more delightful. We agreed that our food was as good as chinese food can be and all served fairly quickly. Our booking was at 18:00 and as the venue got busier there was no difference to our service, it was always good.
The series always good. Staff are warm kind and know there stuff. Find was delicious again. been a few times and always great. I like that they have food warmers on table so if taking your time it's nit getting cold. This time waz a birthday celebration. If you tell them they bring out an ice cream dish with a big sparkler. They also sing happy birthday. Highly recommend going.

Takeaway wasn't good, frier oil needs changed because the chips were boiled over fried. The satay is not satay sauce, more like a weak curry with a tiny hint of coconut. Disappointment is an understatement, I can't recommend this to anyone. Wish I had looked at some of the produce people posted in pictures before ordering, says it all. Pictures never lie.
There has been a recent overhaul of the decor within the restaurant which has been very tastefully done. However as usual the food was great along with the service and friendly staff, what more could you ask for....
Amazing food, very friendly and attentive staff and perfect atmosphere for a family meal out. Great menu options including for gluten-free. Will definitely be back.
I got an Xmas meal takeaway from here a great pick up time, The food was still hot after walking ten mins up the road and very tasty will be back

The very best Value for money. This is best Chinese food I have ever eaten. They are all about the food. They do everything well.
