Food was lovely, and service was good too.... but as we booked for a family of 8 and a 6month old baby (with a pushchair) we was put right next to the kitchen door. (even though there we was the only ones in there) While we was looking at the menu and holding the baby, Staff then asked if we could move the pushchair to the front of restaurant by the front door. When food arrived we asked for the pushchair and was told there isn't enough room can we hold the baby (while eating) we had to move chair around so a family member was sitting directly in front of the swinging kitchen door. But food is lovely and we (as a family of 8 and a 6month old in a pushchair) will definitely go again but ameki...
Ordered a takeaway. Chicken tikka masalla and got a red sloppy soup which was tasteless and chicken that wasn't chicken tikka. Red bits in the soup. Nasty. Chicken tikka Balti, which was an onion gravy with chicken that wasnt chicken tikka. Naan breads not very good and dry. Only ordered as the reviews were good but my food was not good.
Recently popped in on Saturday night for two. Did not book and got a table easily. Whilst the decor could do with a face lift. My tropical balti was tasty and our naan breads were hot and fresh. Shame it is not as busy as vakas nearby as food is good. Needs a bit more atmosphere and new decor but don't be out off and great for takeaway.
Amazing food, excellent renovation. Proper professional standards of food cooked at this restaurant. I have been coming for years! Hopefully many more good years to come. Thank you for your effort in providing me and my family an authentic evening. Best wishes, good luck and happy new year to you!
for a few drinks with new friends and they asked if we had a curry fancied, came here and had a great night, took our own drinks, from the off license next door, I and the woman had some great eating, big service and great prices, would recommend def and would go back
