Shipways At The Lodge

Booked this venue for a family party for 18. The whole process of booking and obtaining information was so easy. Everyone I spoke to was so helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. On the day the Carvery and desserts were excellent and Jamie and the rest of the staff were so welcoming and attentive. They even cut up our celebration cake and wrapped the slices so everyone could take it home! Just the best customer service for miles!

Can I say if anyone looking to book a wake venue at some point in their lives please do not hesitate to book the Lodge. Our room was set up with thought and care, the buffet superb food in abundance. They staff in the room to attend to us took care of our every need constantly topping up drinks etc. Our family really can't praise them enough. Thankyou Judith and the team Dianne and Lorraine .

Met up with two lovely friends to-day 15/1/19 for lunch,a full house greeted us on arrival, there were two 80th Birthdays being celebrated, it made for a lovely atmosphere.On to the Carvery nothing i can say only that it's not one of the best It is the BEST CARVERY around food/service/staff not forgetting Emma (the carver) was Fab See you soon. We regularly go to The Lodge as a family. The staff are friendly and efficient and the carvery meall very tasty, with an excellent choice of vegetables. From the minute we stepped into this venue we were looked after. The staff made us welcome, the food was plentiful, fresh, hot and so tasty. The drinks were good value. We had a wonderful time celebrating a relative's wedding here. A huge thank you to the wonderful staff!!

Couldn't join family event, so they invited us to collect a meal to take home. What an amazing service, all Covid measures in place. Excellent food as always, very friendly staff. Highly recommended. Thanks Judith and all the staff. Tracey Mal Barnes.

Visit on a regular basis standard nice wholesome food great staff . I visit as part of a party of friends . Large room available for private functions Staff are very accommodating for the needs of elderly and less able friendly attitude alway the same
