After hearing multiple positive reviews and recommendations, we chose to have dinner at a fish and chip shop. My wife picked up the order, but upon returning home, we discovered that the portion sizes were incorrect. I contacted the restaurant, and they were quick to rectify the mistake. The man at the restaurant was very friendly and apologetic. He addressed the issue promptly and even gave us a voucher for our next visit. We will definitely return in the future.
The food at this restaurant is always amazing, I can never find fault with it. I asked for delivery, but I was surprised when I was charged £4! I think £2 would be a more acceptable delivery fee. I only found out about the charge when I looked at the receipt, so I assumed it was free since I wasn't told about the cost. That's the only thing I can fault with this experience. Lesson learned, I guess I will opt to pick up my order in the future.
This fish and chip shop is hands down the best for miles around. The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection, and the service is top-notch. Despite living 30 minutes away, we have been loyal customers for nearly a year now because the quality of the food is consistently amazing. It's definitely worth the drive every time. You can always count on a delicious meal here without any disappointment.
We come here often and order from here for a dinner. The staff are nice and friendly and the food is always delicious and tasty. We have been having the food here for ages. Sometimes if you order 2 piece chicken you will get another free peice with it. I bought Cod, Skate and chips. Skate was cooked to order and ready in 10 minutes. All was high quality and the portion was a good size although I had only ordered the regular size. Food was well wrapped and a carry home bag provided. Best fish and chips I have had for many years accompanied by friendly fast service.
